2025 Started with Fiz playing Devorah  an Israeli woman in the film “Do They Not Hate U” She played Karen in the  film FROM MOTHER WITH LOVE which  won best comedy at the 30th Portobello Film Festival and for which she has been awarded Best Actress at Hollywood Indie Film Awards 2025, and she is about to film on the second series of the acclaimed Netflix series “Black Doves”

2024 has seen Fiz film the role of Ms Johnson, a rude woman in the feature film “Jingle Bell Heist”,  she played the lead role in “Theresa” by Julia Pascal in a reading to celebrate Holocaust Memorial Day and  a bad tempered train conductor in a Sky TV commercial

2023 was a busy year.  Fiz played Mrs Crupp in the acclaimed Audible production of “David Copperfield’, appeared in Julia Pascal’s latest play  “As Happy As God In France”, filmed on “DI Ray” Series 2 playing a nosy Polish neighbour and played another Polish lady in “Casualty”, As well as becoming the voice of Acorn Stairlifts in the UK and the USA.  In September she went back to her roots in Leeds to appear in the play “Meet Me At Cantors” as part of Leeds City Of Culture.

2022 saw Fiz playing Grandma Auburn in 3 commercials for The World Gold Council and a role in the short “The Rabbi’s Son”. as well as being a  Finalist as Best Actress in British Short Film Awards 2022 for “The Walled Garden”  and appearing in “Planet Speranta” as part of The Finborough Theatre’s recordings to support Ukraine.

Despite Covid, 2021 was a very busy year, and  included playing a Hungarian in the US TV series “Atlanta 3”, a seaside Fortune Teller in “Sandylands” (UKTV) and Joan a spritely elderly pensioner from Doncaster in “The Holden Girls: Mandy & Myrtle” a spoof dram/ doc for E4.  Playing Maisie Pritchett a wily vagrant on “Doctors” and  shooting a short “The Walled Garden”. for which she received the nomination for Best Actress.

As with most people, 2020 was anything but a straightforward year.  A planned commercial for Amazon to be shot in Prague was pulled at the last minute as was a TV role in “Pennyworth.”  Luckily the “Pennyworth” job was re scheduled and shot at the end of August.  In addition to this 2020 also saw her playing a traffic warden in the new Electric Mini commercial.

In 2019 work included playing the suburban housewife Joy in the feature film ‘She Will’ alongside Rupert Everett & Alice Krige, Rosa Joselowicz in the TV movie ‘Das Boot 2’,  a Russian guest of Prince Yusupov in the feature film ‘Kingsman: The Great Game’, and Edith Jacobs in ‘Three Sisters’ a new play by Julia Pascal.

In 2018 she played Debra Harport, a guest lead in ‘Doctors’  and prior to that appeared as the Cook and Club Member in ‘Absolute Hell’ at The National Theatre directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins.

Work in 2017 included ‘Flycatcher’ at The Hope Theatre,  ‘Mr Ten Days’ for The Wireless Theatre Co, & a Music Video for Dutch singer Tessa Rose Jackson. In 2016 she worked with The Guildford Shakespeare Company in their 10th Anniversary Summer Season appearing as The Duchess Solinus, Courtesan and Abbess in ‘The Comedy Of Errors’ and as Leonata in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. She played Margaret in the short film ‘Falling In Love’ and filmed  a BBC 2 documentary about the Deepcut Barracks Inquest, playing Alison Foster QC.  Other work involved a rehearsed reading of ‘Birthright’ by Laura Poliakoff as part of the Playwrought Festival at The Arcola Theatre. and  rehearsed readings for ‘Anonymous Is A Woman’ as part of their Women In The West End Season.

Fiz has a wide playing range both in terms of character and age.  During 2015 she appeared at The Finborough Theatre as Jachne – Braine  the gravedigger’s wife in ‘Treasure’  a Yiddish satirical comedy set in Russia in the 1900s.  Other work included Esme in ‘Amy’s View’ and Marian Palmer in ‘Sweet Revenge’ as part of the Windsor Theatre Royal 2015 Summer Rep Season, Sandra a supermarket worker in ‘Stained’ for Braine Hownd Films and voicing the latest TV commercial for ‘Acorn Stairlifts’!

With a keen interest in new writing, recent work has included appearing with West Avenue Theatre Company at The Waterloo East Theatre,   research and development on a new play  set in Leeds for The New Bradford Theatre, a showcase of new American writing for Chaski’s Theatre Company and ‘Occupied’ at Theatre 503 for which she received an OFFIE nomination.

Other favourite roles over the last few years include ‘Dottie’, a  tough working class American in ‘Good People’ at The English Theatre Frankfurt , ‘Mrs Robinson’ a society palm reader in the South East tour of ‘In Extremis’.  Maggie, a middle aged ‘tart with a heart’ from Selby Yorkshire in the feature film ‘Heckle’ for Comedy Girl/Palm Tree.   ‘Hester’ the middle class magistrate in The London Classic Theatre Company 2012  UK & Irish tour of ‘Equus’, and  ‘Mam’ – Alan Bennett’s ageing mother in the No 1 tour of ‘The Lady In The Van”.

TV has included Brenda, a care worker with Dot Cotton in EastEnders’ and a Serbian receptionist in a brothel in ‘Skins’. Other screen work includes ‘Holby City’ ,’Jekyll’, ‘Mayo’ and ‘The Amazing Mrs Pritchard’, as well as feature films ”Heckle’, ‘Jaypen Code 20’, ‘Swinging With The Finkels’ ‘Suzie Gold’  ‘ The Penalty King’ & ‘Leon The Pig Farmer’

She has appeared frequently in radio plays for The Wireless Theatre Company & Audible, has extensive corporate experience and is a regular voice over.
